The Sneaky Ninjas

When I read the weekly theme of Illustration Friday, Sneaky, it immediately came to my mind the fast and cunning ninjas, who populated myths and leggends from the ancient Japan...



It was the first time I tried to develop in a rush time an idea like this;
I had in mind a "zen" scene: very quite and tide, in which our sneaky charachters are acting, running on the roof of a pagoda or hidden in a bushel during the night, while a lovely japanese girl is enjoying the apparently calm evening...perhaps the ninjas are going to kidnap her? Could it be the incipit for a story?

Edit: I added much more moonlight to the scene, according to some suggestions!

This time I followed an exercise suggested by the american illustrator Keri Smith;
First I found through a widely used social network other "Silvia Lizs", persons with my same name spread around the world, then I sketched them in digital and wrote down age, place where they live and affections;

It was really funny to do: give a try! =D

Another very-fast digital sketch (I should have payed more attention to the hands), this time inspired from yesterday's bad weather;
this warm yellow immediately made me think about an umbrella that I received as present as I was a baby girl! It used to have some penguins on it acting as fire fighters! Wonder where it is now...

Luckly today we have Sun: I'll surely be out for a walk!
